Uniregistry, through its Extended Protection Service (Uni EPS), provides a robust barrier for owners of registered trademarks registered in the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH), allowing them to shield their brands in a variety of Uniregistry-specific domain extensions. This service is a fundamental bulwark to safeguard brand identity in the digital environment, preventing unauthorized registration of domains that may be harmful to the brand.
With management of 23 distinctive domain extensions such as .hosting, .photo, .christmas, .diet, and .mom, Uniregistry positions itself as a strategic ally in the protection of intellectual property online. The brand protection offered by Uni EPS is structured in two different levels of security:
EPS
Blocking a label on all Uniregistry extensions, including premium domain names. Overide at no cost to the trademark owner.
EPS+
Unlimited blocking on all labels generated by TMCH and included in the SMD. So it is not necessary to choose which label to block. IDN blocking that includes the SMD. Blocking homographic names commonly used by phishers to impersonate the correct domain.
